Governance
There is a layered approach to the governance of ARTI, with Aceh-based and Australia-based committees feeding into an overall Project Coordinating Committee (PCC) as follows:
- Project Coordinating Committee (PCC)
- Aceh Universities Advisory Board (AUAB)
- Australian Universities Advisory Committee (AUAC)
1. Project Coordinating Committee:
The PCC will include one representative from each of the Australian Government, the Indonesian Government, the AUAB (the Chair), Melbourne University and the Myer Foundation.
2. Aceh Universities Advisory Board:
Membership of the AUAB will include the Rectors (or their representatives) of the following institutions:
- Universitas Syiah Kuala
- IAIN "Ar-Raniry"
- Universitas Muhammadiyah Aceh
- Universitas Malikussaleh
3. Australian Universities Advisory Committee:
- The University of Melbourne: Prof. Michael Leigh, Asia Institute
- Australian National University: Visiting Fellow, Prof. Virginia Hooker, Research School of Pacific and Asian Studies
- University of Sydney: Dr. Michele Ford, Dept. of Indonesian Studies
- University of New South Wales: Associate Dean Prof. Anthony Zwi, Faculty of Medicine
- University of Technology Sydney: Dr Barbara Leigh, Asia Pacific Studies
- Monash University: Prof. Margaret Kartomi, School of Music - Conservatorium
- LaTrobe University: Dr. Angus McIntyre, School of Social Sciences
- Victoria University: Dr. Richard Chauvel, School of Social Sciences.
